Overview

At TELUS Health, I worked on the Enterprise Data Collections team, contributing to a platform that collects and manages healthcare data. The role was full-stack, spanning Angular frontend, Node.js backend, and MongoDB database work.

Technical Highlights

Frontend (Angular / TypeScript)

Implemented and debugged frontend features, paying particular attention to WCAG accessibility standards. This included proper ARIA attributes, keyboard navigation, color contrast compliance, and screen reader support.

Backend (REST APIs)

Designed and maintained backend services and REST APIs. This included building new endpoints for data collection features, optimizing database queries, and fixing bugs reported in production.

Agile Development

Worked within an Agile team using sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives. Participated in code reviews and collaborated with senior developers on architectural decisions.
